I am a driven counsellor and psychotherapist from India based in Brisbane, Australia.
I have completed my Masters in Counselling (UQ) and am a registered Level 2 ACA member. I also hold a Post graduation degree in counselling psychology (Amity University) and Play Therapy (Play therapy training Australia).
I believe in fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all my clients and work from an integrative and strengths based approach of counselling. My practice is trauma informed, queer affirmative, client centred and evidence based. Being a woman from a diverse cultural and linguistic background, I strive to provide a holistic and client centred care to all my clients. I am empathetic, compassionate, analytical, and good at building therapeutic relationships with all my clients.

 Fees

Free phone consultations before the first session addressing your needs and concerns around counselling and providing an insight into what our sessions will look like. You can ask questions about the sessions and address any issues that you may be facing that may stop you from seeking help. I will try my best to answer your questions. These can range between 15mins to 45 mins.

 $50 for 50-minute sessions (individuals)

$75 for 80mins sessions (couples and groups)

Jimena Sanchez Jordan

I am a bilingual counsellor based in Brisbane registered as a level 2 in the ACA and hold a master’s degree in counselling from the University of Queensland. I work from an integrative and holistic approach adapted to the unique needs of each client and with the firm belief that every person is capable of Self healing. I strive to offer a nonjudgemental, accepting and empathetic space. My practice is queer affirmative, inclusive and evidence based. Being from a different cultural background gives me a better understanding of the challenges that migrating brings along and enables me to provide sessions in Spanish.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions offer great value for money as you can access Diversity Queensland Counsellors without large upfront per session fees

Benefits: Up to 2 x individual 50 minute sessions per month including carry-over accrual of up to 2 x individual 50 minute sessions.

Note: Not all counsellors offer subsciptions
